The Value of Education & Mentoring

Last week, I had the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at Kennesaw State University’s (KSU) 2015 International Achievement Awards event. It’s exciting to see KSU internationalize its curriculum.

Dr. Jagdish Sheth, eminent marketing scholar and professor at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and a man I’m proud to call friend, endowed the awards through his foundation.

Dr. Sheth ends his most recent book (his 40th!) “The Accidental Scholar” with a quote that really resonates with me because I devote a lot of my personal time to helping youth. I am a firm believer that when you change the trajectory of success for a young person, the value added to their family (in future generations) is truly infinite. I also relate to the quote because of the positive difference that education and mentoring has had in my life. I hope you will enjoy the quote.
